Efeito agudo do alongamento estático e do alongamento balístico sobre o desempenho do salto.

Resumo


O alongamento muscular é frequentemente utilizado durante o aquecimento em atividades esportivas e o conhecimento dos seus efeitos agudos sobre o desempenho devem ser conhecidos, sendo assim este estudo têm como objetivo avaliar o efeito agudo do alongamento estático e balístico sobre o desempenho do salto. Foram utilizados trinta indivíduos, vinte do sexo masculino e dez do sexo feminino divididos nos grupos alongamento estático (AE) e alongamento balístico (AB) ambos com 15 indivíduos. Todos os indivíduos foram avaliados através do Triple Hop Distance, na primeira etapa os indivíduos realizaram os saltos após aquecimento e na segunda etapa, realizaram o alongamento e repetiram os saltos, sendo à distância nas duas etapas mensurada em metros e retirada a média para analisar os efeitos dos dois tipos de alongamento sobre o desempenho. Para a análise estatística foi utilizado o teste T de Student com nível de significância de 5% (p<0,05). Em ambos os tipos de alongamento muscular foram encontradas reduções estatisticamente significativas sobre o desempenho do salto (p<0,0001) variando de -1,6 a -3,0% para o alongamento balístico e -1,7% a -4,5% para o alongamento estático. O alongamento estático e o alongamento balístico quando utilizados de maneira aguda promovem redução no desempenho do salto em indivíduos saudáveis.
