ATUAÇAO DA ACUPUNTURA SISTÊMICA NA MELHORA DA DOENÇA PULMONAR OBSTRUTIVA CRÔNICA – REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Resumo

Introdução: A Doença Pulmonar Obstrutiva Crônica (DPOC) é uma doença respiratória com  obstrução crônica ao fluxo aéreo. A Medicina Tradicional Chinesa (MTC) é uma medicina complementar, e a Acupuntura Sistêmica é eficaz em seu tratamento. Objetivo: Analisar pela revisão sistemática a eficácia da Acupuntura Sistêmica nos sintomas respiratórios, função pulmonar e qualidade de vida na DPOC. Metodologia: Revisão sistemática em artigos indexados no período de 2010 a 2020, nas bases de dados Scielo, Pubmed, Pedro, Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde e Chrocrane. Palavras chaves: Acupuncture e COPD. Resultados: Nas bases de dados Pubmed e Pedro foram encontrados 38 artigos, e após a leitura 32 artigos foram excluídos, totalizando 5 artigos inclusos. Considerações finais: A Acupuntura Sistêmica se mostrou eficaz para o controle e tratamento da dispneia, melhoras em função pulmonar (VEF1 e CVF), em oxigenação durante o TC6M e qualidade de vida.

THE ROLE OF SYSTEMIC ACUPUNCTURE IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE - SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Introduction: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a respiratory disease where there is a chronic obstruction to the airflow. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as a complementary medicine benefits health and is effective in its treatment, with the use of Systemic Acupuncture. Objective: To analyze, through a systematic review, the effectiveness of Systemic Acupuncture in respiratory symptoms, lung function and quality of life in COPD. Methodology: systematic review of articles indexed from 2010 to 2020, in the Scielo, Pubmed, Pedro, Virtual Health Library and Chrocrane databases. Keywords: Acupuncture and COPD. Results: In the Pubmed and Pedro databases, 38 articles were found, and after reading 32 articles were excluded, totaling 5 articles included. Final considerations: Systemic acupuncture proved to be effective for the control and treatment of dyspnea in patients with COPD, improvements in pulmonary function (FEV1 and FVC) and in oxygenation during the 6MWT and in quality of life.
